ESG is an acronym for Environmental, Social and Governance. This is a set of three standards used to measure the level of sustainable development and the impact of businesses on the community. In particular, the Environmental criterion assesses how a business interacts with the natural environment, including issues such as waste management, energy consumption, biodiversity protection and minimizing impacts on climate change. The Social criterion assesses the company's relationship with stakeholders such as employees, customers, communities and partners, issues such as labor rights, health and safety, supply chain management and social impact. The Governance criterion aims to assess the company's governance structure, including risk management, board structure, business ethics, transparency and accountability. In general, ESG assesses the environmental, social and governance factors of an organization or business, measuring its ability to meet sustainability requirements and social impact.
